| Descripción: | The colonization of the infant gut starts prior to birth and continues throughout the life. Specific factors may influence the microbial composition in infants. A Particular focus of interest of this review article was the impact of specific factors on development of gut microbiota in early infancy such as mother’s gut microbiota, mode of delivery , mode of feeding , hygieneic measures, antibiotic administration in early infancy which may influence this process. |
