Descripción: Que el estudiante universitario se acerque a la lectura de manera gratificante y placentera es una necesidad; por tanto, deben crearse espacios en el reciento universitario. Para ello se planteó fortalecer el proceso lector en los estudiantes de tercer año de Educación Integral de la Universidad Católica del Táchira, en la cátedra de Literatura Infantil, a través de un círculo itinerante, con diversidad de textos. La metodología seleccionada estuvo orientada hacia el paradigma cualitativo, en la modalidad de investigación acción, que permitió orientar y ejecutar acciones significativas de lectura con veinte estudiantes. Para ello se usaron diversas técnicas: la observación para recabar los datos directamente del entorno, la encuesta para obtener información precisa sobre los intereses y prácticas de lectura, y la entrevista para conocer los datos particulares sobre las inclinaciones de los participantes acerca del proceso lector. Los instrumentos fueron el cuestionario, las notas de campo, el diario de los participantes y la cámara fotográfica. Esta propuesta conjugó la actividad lectora con diferentes jornadas significativas entre las que se pueden mencionar: La cadencia seductora de la voz, Un libro me llevo hoy, Hilando las lecturas, Preparando el material, Encuentro con…, Tertulia con la lectura. De esta experiencia se concluye que se debe brindar al estudiante de nivel superior la oportunidad de ser cautivados, con libertad, en la lectura de obras literarias, lo que permitió que cada participante asumiera una postura hacia el texto, dependiendo de sus gustos e intereses, descubriéndose, en algunos de ellos, una pasión lectora, una inclinación hacia la profundización del conocimiento y un despertar hacia la promoción y animación de la lectura.

The college student approaches reading so rewarding and enjoyable is a need, therefore, there must be created reading places in the campus. This was raised to strengthen the reading process in the third year students of Educación Integral at Universidad Católica del Táchira, in the subject of Children's Literature, through a itinerant circle, with diverse texts. The chosen methodology was oriented to qualitative paradigm in action research mode, allowing direct and execute meaningful reading actions with twenty students. This research used several techniques: observation to collect data from the environment, the survey to obtain accurate information about the interests and reading practices, and the interview to know the particulars about the inclinations of the participants about the reading process. The instruments were the questionnaire, field notes, the participant’s journal and the camera. This proposal combined the reading activity with different significant journeys among which may be mentioned: The seductive cadence of voice, Today I take a book, Spinning readings, Preparing material, Meeting with..., Chatting with reading. From this experience we conclude that there should be giving the chance to college students to be enthralled, with freedom, in the reading of literary works, which allowed each participant took a stance towards the text, depending on their tastes and interests, discovered, in some of them, a passion reader, an inclination towards the deepening of knowledge and an awakening to the promotion of reading and animation.
