Descripción: El presente artículo empieza por referir la existencia de abogados inescrupulosos que públicamente ofrecen sus servicios a personas que sugieren podría beneficiarse económicamente con una demanda judicial por mala praxis médica, imputable a tratamiento impropio o negligencia. Procedimientos de esa naturaleza, francamente reñidos con la ética, contrastan con la experiencia diaria de médicos, enfermeras y otros profesionales de ciencias de la salud que ponen al servicio de sus pacientes sus conocimientos con responsabilidad, eficiencia y solicitud sin que, por esta realidad, se desconozca que en ocasiones pueda ocurrir el error médico y, aún ciertos casos de mala praxis médica, atribuibles a circunstancias derivadas de limitaciones estructurales y administrativas, a dificultades para alcanzar estudios de especialización o por acciones de corrupción protagonizadas por algunas empresas farmacéuticas que a través del soborno logran la preferencia en la venta de sus productos. Como consecuencia de este análisis concluye planteando la necesidad de que exista una permanente integración de la ética y la práctica médica en la atención a la salud por parte de todos los profesionales y en todos los servicios de salud.

The present article parts from the antecedent that, frequently, in different countries of our continent, unscrupulous lawyers publically offer their professional services with their promise to obtain economic benefits to people who consider that they should be able to obtain monetary compensation for supposed cases of: medical malpractice, improper treatment, negligent actions or conduct by a physician. Such behaviour, very frequently lacking of all principles of ethics, contrast with the public knowledge of the efficient, responsible daily work of doctors, nurses and other professionals of the science of health care, whom comply with their noble mission while attending solicitously to the patients that require their services. Nevertheless, it recognizes the possibility that some times cases of medical error and malpractice can occur, refereeing as possible causes or originated as much for administrative and structural limitations or the lack of access to specialized studies, also the corruption businesses practices of the pharmaceutical companies in its eagerness of obtaining their preference, done, not always to justified the prescription of the faculty or of the sale of its medical drugs in their institution. It concludes, in base to its analysis, presenting the imperative need that a permanent integration of ethics should be maintained in the routine care of medicine either in private or public practice of health care.
