| Descripción: | This thesis considers the dimensional analysis theory in engineering. A Knowledge-Aided Design Tool is presented which permits the solution of many aspects of Dimensional Analysis for electromagnetics. The KAD Tool was coded in the language Lisp with Allegro Common Lisp in a Microsoft-Windows environment on a PC with a 486 microprocessor. It represents 10 196 lines of code. The mathematical functions are supported by the mathematical libraries of the software MAPLE. A menu with nine choices corresponding to nine functionalities of Dimensional Analysis is offered to the user. |
