Descripción: El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo responder a las siguientes preguntas: ¿Puede la literatura infantil causar un impacto en la agresividad de niños entre 5 y 6 años, de un estrato socio-económico medio-alto de la ciudad de Quito, incentivándoles a encontrar alternativas positivas de comportamiento a través de la identificación con los personajes y situaciones que se presentan? y ¿Cómo es el proceso de esta intervención en niños con un nivel bajo, medio y alto de agresividad? Es un estudio cuantitativo experimental; sin embargo, incluye datos cualitativos que complementan la investigación.
This investigation answered the two following questions: Can children´s literature cause an impact in the aggressiveness of 5 and 6 years old children from a middle-high social-economic status in Quito, encouraging them to find positive alternatives of behaviour through their identification with the characters and situations presented in the stories? And how is the process of the intervention in children with a high, middle and low level of aggressiveness? This study is quantitative and experimental but it also includes qualitative data that complements the investigation.
