Descripción: A term used when somebody credit card is used by some illegal person to buy provisions or services is Credit card fraud. A fast growth in the number of credit card transactions has led to a considerable increase in deceptive activities. Credit card fraud is a wide-ranging term for theft and fraudulence committed using a credit card as a fake source of funds in a given transaction. The credit card is a small plastic card issued to users as a system of payment. Credit card safety relies on the physical safety of the plastic card as well as the confidentiality of the credit card number. The credit card holder regularly has trouble reasserting control over the card, because generally they don't find out instantly, and the owner must discriminate authentic purchases from prohibited in a reliable manner. Cases of fraud associated with it are also growing as credit card and becomes the mainstream popular mode of payment for both online as well as regular purchase. Deceiving connections are spread with genuine connections and simple pattern matching techniques are not often adequate to distinguish the deceptions exactly in real life. Execution of proficient deception discovery methods has thus become important for all credit card issuing banks in order to reduce the bank losses. Various recent methods based on Artificial Intelligence have developed in determining a variety of credit card deceiving transactions. A variety of techniques are used in credit card deception discovery mechanisms which are evaluated by each methodology based on certain design criteria.
