Descripción: Cloud Computing is a subscription-based service where you can obtain the networked storage space and computer resources. In cloud computing model, customers plug into the cloud to access IT resources which are priced and provided on demand services. The major feature of the cloud computing is that user’s data are processed in remote machines, which are unknown to the data owners. Here the security breaches are raised. Users fear about their data control, so that they needed to account their data, which are stored in the cloud. Accountability is the most critical prerequisite for effective  governance and control of corporate and private data processed by cloud-based IT services. Accountability is the agreement to act as in authority proctor of the personal information of others, to take accountability for security and applicable use of that information beyond the legal requirements, and to be held responsible for misuse of that information. This paper presents a method for information accountability in the cloud computing environment.
