En el país se encuentran numerosos puentes de paso a través intermedio colgantes. En este artículo se presentan la metodología y las conclusiones obtenidas en un estudio sobre el comportamiento de este tipo de puentes para las cargas existentes durante su proceso de construcción y puesta en servicio, mediante la constrastación entre modelos físicos y matemáticos. Igualmente, se estudió para estos modelos la estabilidad lateral. In the country there is a great quantity of hanging bridges type pony.
