Se presenta en este trabajo la encrucijada actual de la interpretación de la novela más célebre de Gabriel García Márquez dando cuenta, por un lado, de una tradición interpretativa que desde una cierta idea de “lo nacional” relaciona el sentido de la obra con un agotamiento de la historia y, por otro lado, postulando las condiciones de posibilidadde otrainterpretación, vale decir, otra tradición interpretativadesde dondeleer la novela para hallar en ellaotro sentido con relación a la historia. La argumentación se apoya en postulados de la hermenéutica de Hans-Georg Gadamer y de Paul Ricoeur. This paper presents the current crossroads of the interpretation of the most famous novel by Gabriel García Márquez accounting for, on one hand, a tradition of interpretation that, from a certain idea of “national”, relates the meaning of the work to an exhaustion of history and, on the other hand, proposing the conditions of possibility for another interpretation, namely, another tradition of interpretation from which to read the novel in order to find in it another meaning in relation to history. The argument is based on principles of the hermeneutics of Hans-Georg Gadamer and Paul Ricoeur. |
