Descripción: In a global world and economy, sharing and communicating new results is a key aspect of any research, development, and innovation activity. This is even more important for the Computer Science and Engineering domain, in which the scientific community has an increased dynamics and produces new results at a very high rate. Dissemination of research results within national or international conferences or their publication in scientific journals helps teams of researchers to share ideas and pave the way towards future cooperation in the same domain of interest. It supports the global scientific community to become more and more homogeneous with respect to the research topics and to the quality of scientific results. One major source of scientific results is the academic community. According to the Bologna process aiming at the creation of the European Higher Education Area, master degree is a second-cycle higher education qualification. Master programs have a particularly important role in preparing future professionals for research activities in academic, industry and other economic environments. The Computer Science Master Research Journal, CSMR published by the Computer Science and Engineering Department of the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computers, UPB mainly targets the dissemination of the research results obtained by Master of Science students in Computer Science and Engineering towards the valorization of these results and the exchange of views in different areas of the domain. Participation to research projects, building interdisciplinary student research teams, and collaboration with high-tech companies can be facilitated by the publication of research results in this journal. In the same time, CSMR Journal is designed as a tool for training master students in writing scientific papers. The detailed reviews will help master students improve their scientific skills and written communication abilities. We strongly encourage our MSc students to submit at least one paper to this journal, during his/her master studies. The activity of writing papers to this journal should be perceived as a complementary activity to the teaching and research activities in the master programs. In courses and laboratories students gather the knowledge that helps create scientific results. CSMR Journal aims to offer an adequate environment and knowledge about how to disseminate scientific results. Publishing in CSMR Journal is open to any MSc student in Computer Science and Engineering. We deem this will create the competitive environment necessary to stimulate the production of high quality papers by our own students. This is an opportunity and you should take advantage of it.
