| Descripción: | Bajo un estudio documental de índole comparativo, entre las teorías sobre pensamiento estratégico y gestión pública; se busca explicar el papel que juega este dentro de ella; confluyendo sobre la planificación, organización dirección y control, a través de los avances ideológicos que requieren las organizaciones de este sector, mostrándoles un nuevo modelo de gerencia, basado en los aportes doctrinarios de: Cendrós (2003), Pérez (2004), Herrera (2005), Cornelis (2007), Palacios (2008) entre otros, quienes han desarrollado investigaciones sobre el pensamiento estratégico y/o la gestión pública. En tal sentido, hoy en día existe la confrontación entre las organizaciones de todo nivel en sus campos de acción, buscando cerrar la brecha virtual de apalancamiento de sus gerentes en cuanto a los diversos paradigmas y diversas estrategias políticas regentes en el país suramericano (Venezuela). En virtud de ello, surge la búsqueda de los cambios sociales en la gestión pública con una visión futurista, innovadora y flexible en el tiempo. La investigación es de tipo descriptiva - documental, analizando sistemáticamente las características homogéneas del fenómeno estudiado; se establece documental pues se revisan estudios anteriores con similitud al desarrollado, basados en la obtención y análisis de datos provenientes de materiales impresos u otros documentos. STRATEGIC THINKING FOR PUBLIC MANAGEMENT: A CONFLUENCE FOR THE PLANNING, ORGANIZATION, DIRECTION AND CONTROL ABSTRACT Under a documentary study of comparative nature, including strategic thinking and theories of public management seeks to explain the role it plays within it, coming together on planning, organization, direction and control, through ideological developments that require organizations in this sector, showing a new management model, based on input doctrinaire; Cendrós (2003), Pérez (2004), Herrera (2005), Cornelis (2007), Palacios (2008) among others, who have conducted research on strategic thinking and / or public administration. In this sense, today there is confrontation between organizations at all levels in their fields of action, seeking to bridge the gap leverage virtual of its managers in terms of different paradigms and different political strategies in the (Venezuelan) South American country regents. In light of this, comes the search for social change in public administration with a futuristic vision, innovative and flexible over time. The research is descriptive - document, systematically analyzing the homogeneous characteristics of the studied phenomenon, since it provides documentary review previous studies similar to that developed, based on the collection and analysis of data from printed materials or other documents.
