| Descripción: | La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar los niveles de planificación estratégica de la producción de poliolefinas en el sector petroquímico del estado Zulia. Para lograr este propósito, las bases teóricas fueron soportadas por Serna (2008), Chiavenato (2006), Garrido (2006) y Sallenave (2002). El tipo de investigación utilizada fue descriptiva con un diseño no experimental de campo transeccional. La población quedó conformada por 20 unidades informantes, siendo de tipo censo poblacional, integrada por los gerentes, superintendentes e ingenieros de planificación de las áreas producción de Polinter, Propilven y Pequiven. Se diseñó un cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos que quedó conformado por 36 ítems de los cuales, para esta investigación, se utilizaron 9 ítems y su diseño fue escalar de tipo Likert. Su validación se obtuvo a través del juicio de expertos (05) en el área y la confiabilidad por el método Alfa-Cronbach con un resultado de 0.914, lo cual representa una alta confiabilidad. Se concluyó que se cumple con el objetivo, no obstante, para contribuir con el desarrollo interno del sector petroquímico se deben enfocar en ejecutar planes estratégicos a nivel de planificación estratégica corporativa para incrementar la capacidad de producción de las plantas para satisfacer la demanda en el sector petroquímico; para cumplir las metas establecidas a largo plazo. Palabras Claves:Planificación, Estrategia, Niveles de planificación STRATEGIC PLANNING LEVELS FOR POLYOLEFINS PRODUCTION IN THE PETROCHEMICAL SECTOR IN ZULIA STATE ABSTRACT The objective of this investigation was to analyze the levels of polyolefins strategic planning for production in the petrochemical sector in Zulia state. To achieve this purpose, the theoretical bases were supported by Serna (2008), Chiavenato (2001), Garrido (2006) and Sallenave (2002). The type of investigation used was descriptive with a non-experimental transactional field design. The population was consisted of 20 informant units being the population survey integrated by managers, superintendents and engineers of the planning production areas from Polinter, Propilven and Pequiven. A survey was designed as a method to collect data with 9 items and it design were scalar Likert type. The validation was made by a panel of 5 experts in the area and the reliability was done with the Alfa-Cronbach method obtaining a 0.914, which means high reliability. The conclusion in the studied sector meets the objective, however, to help with the internal development of the petrochemical sector, we must focus in execute strategic plans in a corporative strategic planning to fulfill the demand in the petrochemical sector; to reach their objective paths to the future.
