Descripción: Reviser un programme universitaire peut e^tre assimile´ a` un processus de mode´li- sation visant a` de´terminer les objectifs, les e´le´ments, les interrelations et les fron- tie`res d'un syste`me de formation. Ce processus implique le choix pre´alable d'une me´thodologie qui posse`de ses avantages et ses inconve´nients et ne peut pre´tendre pouvoir s'appliquer a` toutes les situations. Le pre´sent article e´tudie deux cas de re´vision de programmes universitaires, en faisant ressortir les caracte´ristiques des me´thodes choisies pour ce faire et mettant l'accent sur le processus de le´gitima- tion que chacune d'elle implique. Certaines suggestions sont aussi faites pour faciliter le choix d'une me´thode de mode´lisation face aux caracte´ristiques parti- culie`res d'une situation.
