| Descripción: | This article presents a "conservative" assessment of the introduction of microcomputers for assisting English language (ESL) instruction. In particular, it reports on our experience with the use of microcomputers and word processing programs at the American Language Institute of New York University. It describes what we have found to be a useful, specialized taxonomy of applications of word processing to ESL instruction in reading and composition. |
