| Descripción: | The ESD protection for an electronic dictionary was studied, and detailed countermeasures are presented. By the presented steps against the ESD, the electronic dictionary can satisfy the requirement of 4 kV ESD in the mode of contact discharge, 8 kV ESD in the mode of air discharge.
