Descripción: Nowadays, the material disassembly is an important issue for the industry. This paper presents an algorithm to sequence the task to be performed in the disassembly of a specific material from a product or to separate all the materials of a product. It uses a hierarchical model of the product that was used previously in the computation of the sequence to disassemble a component, although it tries to separate the materials, keeping the damage to the components as minimum as possible. The algorithm is tested with the disassembly of toys.
This work was funded by the Spanish MEC project “Diseño, implementación y experimentación de escenarios de manipulación inteligentes para aplicaciones de ensamblado y desensamblado automático” (DPI2005-06222).
