Y a pesar
Lo cual indica que en el taller si adquirieron nuevos conocimientos Sexual abuse is defined as any sexual assault committed by a minor or sexual
exploitation. Sexual abuse can involve repetitive sexual acts that occurred over time, or
may consist of a single act of sexual nature. For the child it is very difficult to denounce
the aggressor. This task will be done because of the nature of sexual abuse, feelings of
guilt and shame the victim feels about the possibility of betraying his father or mother,
friends, stepparent or other person attending the child. And despite all reports of sexual
abuse continue to increase (León et al, 2001). In turn, the child sexual abuse can
manifest as behavioral problems broadly, the social problems or physical symptoms
(León et al, 2001)
In this research we developed a workshop on sexual abuse prevention for
children aged 8-9 years who are enrolled in the fourth year of Basic Education Center
Joint Fiscal Carlos Aguilar. The workshop discussed several important issues regarding
sexual abuse. It was planned to conduct a survey before and after the workshop which
consisted of 13 questions with multiple choice answers, in order to measure the
knowledge they had prior knowledge they acquired after the workshop.
The results indicate that if there is a statistically significant difference in terms of
pre and post questionnaires to participants (T-Value = -22.33 P-Value = 0.000). The
increase of hits about the correct answers of the questionnaire after the workshop was
greater than the number of correct answers before the workshop. This indicates that the
workshop if purchased new knowledge. |
