La Edición de un Periódico de Divulgación Científico para la Escuela Politécnica Nacional de Quito (EPN) surge de la necesidad de comunicar a la comunidad universitaria (estudiantes, profesores y personal administrativo) sobre los avances, las opiniones, los estudios y otras actividades que la Politécnica realiza, dentro de sus principales aéreas de estudios, como lo son: Metalurgia, Ambiente, Alimento, Geología, Química Nuclear, Civil, Biología y Electrónica. El objetivo es informar, educar e incentivar a los estudiantes y profesores a que ejecuten sus estudios y a publicar trabajos finalizados que no han sido difundidos. Para ello, se emplearon varios métodos investigativos. Al grupo meta se le encuestó y expresó sus requerimientos de información y demás lineamientos que ayudaron al diseño del medio. Se realizaron entrevistas a periodistas para conocer las características de un periódico especializado en ciencia. Además, se buscó documentación. Según los resultados obtenidos, la EPN sí quiere un medio de comunicación que les proporcione informaciones sobre temas relacionados con la ciencia. Luego se redactó la edición #00 del periódico “Ciencia al Día” bajo ciertos parámetros determinados por los análisis de las encuestas, entrevistas, indagaciones teóricas y por la autora. The edition of a newspaper for the Popularization of Science National Polytechnic School (EPN) is born of the need to inform the university community (students, teachers and administrative staff) on progress, opinions, studies and other activities that make the Polytechnic within the main carriers of studies, such as: Metal, Environment, Food, Chemistry Nuclear, Civil, Electronics and Biology. Aiming to inform and entertain. It is also to encourage students and teachers to continue running their research, and publish works that have not been informed yet, as the EPN has not for half that. To this end, several research methods were used. The target group was surveyed in order to express the requirements and needs for information and other guidelines that helped design the half. It conducted interviews with journalists to know the characteristics of a popular science journal. In addition, documentation was sought. According to the findings, EPN wants a media that provides information on issues related to science. And with the analysis of surveys and interviews are conducted under certain parameters, the newspaper determined by the author. |
