Descripción: In recent times, the perception of employing mobile objects i.e. sometimes referred to as mobile sinks to query a sensor network has been proposed. Applications can make use of this mobility to vigorously sample a sensor field. Mobile objects can be used to collect samples from a sensor field. Inhabitant vehicles or even human beings set with proper wireless communication devices can be used as mobile sinks that recover sensor-data from sampling points within a huge sensor field. A key challenge is how to collect the sensor information in a way that is energy resourceful with respect to the sensor nodes that serve as sources of the sensor data. In this paper, to control the direction of broadcasts that originate from sensor nodes, an algorithmic technique called Band-based Directional Broadcast is proposed. The goal is to express each broadcast of sensor data toward the mobile sink, thus dropping costly forwarding of sensor data packets. The method is studied by simulations that regard as energy utilization and information deliverability.
