Descripción: O objetivo deste trabalho é descrever a arquitetura dos Web Services como um dos recursos disponíveis para facilitar a integração de sistemas heterogêneos, ou seja, sistemas que são desenvolvidos em diferentes linguagens e que necessitam trocar informações e recursos entre si sem a intervenção humana, sendo também independente do sistema operacional. Também é apresentado um estudo de caso onde uma aplicação desenvolvida em Delphi acessa recursos através da tecnologia de Web Services de uma aplicação desenvolvida em Java.
The objective of this work is to describe Web Services's architecture as one of the available resources to facilitate the integration of heterogeneous systems, in other words, systems that are developed in different languages and that need to change information and resources amongst themselves without the human intervention, being also independent of the operating system. Also a case study is presented where an application developed in Delphi accesses resources through the technology of Web Services of an application developed in Java.
