Descripción: O objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar o conhecimento de alunos do ensino fundamental sobre temas como consumo consciente, lixo e reciclagem. Foram utilizadas leituras, discussões, dinâmicas de grupo e momentos de reflexão. Os resultados apontam que as atividades desenvolvidas foram adequadas. Os textos e cartazes elaborados pelos alunos mostraram que houve um entendimento acerca dos tópicos trabalhados: a importância da reciclagem, consumismo e destino do lixo. Além disso, os alunos puderam refletir sobre os impactos das ações humanas no Meio Ambiente. Portanto, acredita-se que trabalhando de forma coletiva e cooperativa, o projeto contribuiu com informações e reflexões importantes subsidiando mudanças de hábitos e atitudes por parte dos alunos para conservação dos recursos naturais.
The aim of this study was to analyze the knowledge elementary students have on topics such as conscious consumption, waste and recycling. We dealt with these issues in a practical way by means of lectures, discussions, group dynamics and moments of reflection. The results indicate that the activities were appropriate. The texts and posters elaborated by students showed that there was an understanding of the topics worked; that is to say, the importance of recycling, consumerism, and garbage disposal. Students could also reflect on the impacts human activities have on the environment. Therefore, we believe that by working in a collaborative and cooperative way, this study provides information and reflections to support possible changes in habits and attitudes on the part of students to conserve natural resources.
