La tesis doctoral titulada Conocimientos. representaciones y actitudes de los estudiantes de titulaciones educativas sobre el VIH/SIDA, pretende analizar dos cuestiones fundamentales. La primera de ellas consiste en determinar aquellos conocimientos que poseen ios estudiantes sobre el VIH/SIDA y que repercuten en la representación social que tienen sobre la enfermedad y en sus actitudes ante tal cuestión. La Universidad de Huelva forma parte de la Red Española de Universidades Saludables. Es por ello, que la segunda cuestión pretende realizar propuestas y planificar actuaciones educativas que capacite a los universitarios y en especial, a lo futuros profesionales de la educación. A lo largo del documento, haremos hincapié en la necesidad de formar al alumnado de titulaciones educativas en la prevención de nuevos contagios y en el estigma asociado ai VIH, apoyándonos en distintos informes, investigaciones y publicaciones que revelan que continúan existiendo muchas dificultades para solventar la situación El Plan Muítisectorial frente a la infección por VIH y el SIDA en España (2008-2012) expone que nuestro país, durante muchos años, ha tenido las tasas más altas de infección de Europa y aunque se han tomado respuestas efectivas al respecto y los resultados son cada vez más favorables, se debe seguir desarrollando intervenciones educativas para llegar a la meta de ONUSÍDA de �Cero nuevas infecciones�. Los datos que se extraen de esta investigación han ayudado a esclarecer cuáles son las carencias formativas en dicha temática y gracias a ello, se ha elaborado una serie de propuestas que exponemos en dicho estudio. El alumnado de las distintas titulaciones educativas deberá desarrollar en un futuro cercano, proyectos que mejoren la calidad de vida de sus alumnos y alumnas, desarrollando programas de educación para la salud en la escuela y de relaciones sexuales saludables. The doctoral thesis entitled "Knowledge, attitudes and performances of students educational qualifications on HIV / AIDS", to analyze two key issues. The first is to identify the knowledge that students have about HIV/AIDS and affecting the social representation about the illness and their attitudes to such a question. The University of Huelva is part of the Spanish Network of Healthy Universities. Therefore, the second question seeks to make proposals and plan educational activities that will enable the university and especially the education of future professionals. Throughout the document, we emphasize the need to train students of educational qualifications in preventing new infections and the stigma associated with HIV, relying on various reports, research and publications reveal that there are still many difficulties to solve the situation. The Multisectoral Plan against HIV and AIDS in Spain (2008-2012) explains that our country, for many years, has had the highest infection rates in Europe and although they have taken effective about answers and results are increasingly favorable, they should continue developing educational interventions to reach the goal of UNAIDS "Zero new infections." The information extracted from this research have helped clarify what are the training deficiencies in that subject and as a result, have developed a series of proposals that we present in this study. Students of different educational qualifications should develop in the near future, projects that improve the quality of life of its students, developing education programs for school health and healthy sexual relationships. |
