| Descripción: | El propósito fundamental de esta investigación fue pronosticar la atenuación por lluvia en las comunicaciones de señal satelital mediante métodos estadísticos, con el fin de determinar los procedimientos estadísticos más adecuados para el cálculo de la atenuación por lluvia que pudiera existir hasta el año 2016. La investigación fue de tipo predictiva y de diseño no experimental. La metodología se realizó en tres (3) fases. Para hacer el pronóstico, se aplicaron los métodos de Regresión Lineal, Suavizamiento Exponencial y Método de Box-Jenkins (ARIMA). Los resultados obtenidos ratificaron la importancia del empleo de los métodos estadísticos como herramientas en la implementación de los enlaces de comunicación satelital.ABSTRACTThe main purpose of this work is to predict the rain attenuation in satellite communications up to 2016. For this, linear regression, exponential smoothing, Box-Jenkins methods were used. The investigation was of predictive and of non experimental design, and was carried out in three fundamental methodological phases. Our results show how statistical methods can be employed as a fundamental tool for implementing communication links.Key words: Statistical methods of prediction, Rain attenuation, Satellite signal |
