The distribution of births by hour of the day was obtained from the vital statistics of Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo. Based on the 4,863 live births which took place during three years (1969; 1910;1971), a distribution was obtained which is characterized by a sinusoid curve with the maximum values occuring in the first hours of the morning and the minimum in the afternoon hours. There has been an attempt to interrelate the biological phenomenon of the rythm of this schedule to factors which could influence it. En esta investigación se analizó, el ciclo de horario al nacimiento de una población de Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, con el objetivo de observar sí este infiere en el sexo de los neonatos, se revisaron los registros relativos a los años 1969-1971, en este periodo de obtuvieron 4863 nacimientos registrados, las diferencias observadas indican un incremento de 5% correspondiente en las niñas marcado a las 6 de la mañana, también se observan similitudes con estudios de otros países. |
