| Descripción: | In this paper we will see how an expert system could be created. Expert system is a set of programs that manipulate encoded knowledge to solve problems in a specialized domain that normally requires human expertise. In this paper some of the applications of expert systems in different domains are discussed. Also we will look into the characteristics, advantages, and limitations of expert systems.
