Descripción: The focus of paper is to provide an overview of the Cruzando Fronteras project. The aim of the project was to provide assistance to school-age children who have been impacted by the violence in the US-Mexico Border. The target population for this project was130 children grades 4th and 5th from a southwestern United States elementary school. Children participated in an 8-week program that combined elements of social emotional learning (SEL) and narrative therapy. A detailed description of the program will be provided. Lessons learned and recommendations for future implementations will be also addressed.
