Descripción: Dear Members:   It's that time of year again, when we find ourselves making preparations for the Annual Mid-Year Conference.  The conference chairs are preparing a program that will enlighten us, provide us with a change of scenery, and give us an opportunity to socialize and exchange ideas with our colleagues.  Division members are busy writing their papers, preparing for their presentations (or at least thinking that it's time to start worrying about doing so), filing travel plans and looking forward to a few days away from campus!  It should be a great time in Columbus.   Hopefully, the conference will help replenish our supply of papers for the Journal.  You may have notices that the last few issues have had only a few papers.  We are experiencing a slow down in paper submissions.  If you have a paper in process, finish it up and send it off.  If you have an idea for a paper, start working on it, get those ideas on paper!   The newly created Editor's award will be bestowed after this issue.  All the papers included in Volume 62 will be eligible for the outstanding paper award.  See Volume 62-Issue 1 for a summary of the award.  Best of luck to all the authors.   For the next few months, we will have a staff change for the Journal.  Sue Miller, our Technical Editor, just had her second child and will be on leave until Fall.  Congratulations to the Millers! In her absence, Pat Connolly, a member of the Journal review board, will take over her responsibilities for managing the review process.  Sue will take his place on the review board while she's on leave.   See you in Columbus!
