| Descripción: | This paper aims to reveal the eventual impacts of European Union (EU) membership process and other conventional factors on the city-size distribution of a candidate country (Turkey). I can state main results as follows: Analyzing from different estimation methods the direct effect of the EU reforms on agglomerating forces rather than congesting forces are revealed to be dominant for Turkey.
