Descripción: | The participation of Canadian teens and young adults in noisy leisure activities in terms of participation rates, hours per activity, and frequency of participation was analyzed. A questionnaire was administered to a group of local, semi-urban high school students between the ages of 15 and 19 during the spring months of April and May. The responses to the questionnaires were analyzed cumulatively as a group and compared with sub-groups based on gender and age. Listening to stereo through speakers was found most popular source of noise exposure. |
