Descripción: | This study investigates the effects on EFL students of using Blackboard technology and the Online Dictionary in developing translating skills and building positive attitudes towards translation in Translation II courses in the College of Languages and Translation, Abha. The study employs a triangulation of research methods, in which two groups studying Translation II, one in a traditional setting (control) and the other (experimental) via Blackboard are examined for their skills in Translation II and their attitudes toward the course. The study indicates an improvement in translation skills and increased positive attitudes towards translation in four of the e-learning environments of Blackboard powered by the Online Dictionary. |
