O presente artigo expõe um dos pressupostos teóricos do projeto de pesquisa, Revisão Materialista da Bioética, desenvolvido pelo autor. Neste trabalho pretende-se discutir os principais conceitos relativos à crítica filosófica, de caráter materialista, da religiosidade e do pensamento teológico. Explicitamos as categorias que perfazem a referida posição crítica, as quais foram propostas e desdobradas na história da filosofia ocidental. Além disso, intentamos igualmente proceder a uma reconstrução dessa crítica, examinando seus aspectos ainda unilaterais e insuficientes, em busca de um entendimento o mais completo possível das determinações sociais objetivas do ressurgimento da religiosidade e da expansão das tendências obscurantistas no mundo capitalista, as quais se fazem ouvir produzindo óbices ao avanço do conhecimento científico e à emancipação humano-societária. This article presents a theoretical presupposition of the research project, Materialist Revision of Bioethics, developed by the author. This paper aims to discuss the main concepts of the philosophical critique of materialist type of religious and theological thought. It will explain the categories that make up such a critical position, which have been proposed and deployed in the history of Occidental philosophy. Moreover, attempts are also carrying out a reconstruction of this criticism, examining aspects still unilateral and insufficient, in search of an understanding of the fullest possible social objective determinations of the resurgence of religion and the expansion of obscurantist tendencies in the capitalist world, which are heard producing obstacles to the advancement of scientific knowledge and human-societal emancipation. |
