| Descripción: | The growing interest in Polar Lows has resulted in increased investigation of this atmospheric phenomenon. Several groups, particularly in Norway, Denmark, and the USA, have recently started extensive research work in this field. Although well known to meteorologists for many years, relatively little has been published on Polar Lows.
