Reflection on the new digital support for information and its treatment in
systems of information. It describes how a multimedia presentation of information is achieved and how it effects the distribution of knowledge. It analyses the new services which supply the new libraries and cites as na example of the necessary integration of resources the Public Library of Information in Paris, giving details of the audio-visual services, that of electronic documents and that of sound, languages and computer programmes.It sets out the board lines which the programmes for the management of information in virtual libraries will have to follow, using as an example, the Hyperion programme. Finally, it deals with the analysis of the image in information systems. Reflexión sobre los nuevos soportes digitales de la información y su tratamiento en los sistemas de información. Describe cómo se ha alcanzado una representación multimedia de la información y cómo afecta a la distribución del conocimiento. Analiza los nuevos servicios que suministran las nuevas bibliotecas y pone como ejemplo de la necesaria integración de recursos a la Biblioteca Pública de Información de París, de quien detalla los servicios de lo audiovisual, el de documentos electrónicos, y el de sonido, lenguas y programas de ordenador. Plantea las grandes líneas que han de seguir los programas de gestión de la información en las bibliotecas virtuales, poniendo como ejemplo al programa HYPERION. Finalmente, se aproxima al análisis de la imagen en los sistemas de información. |
