Descripción: BS Nursing is one of the most sought after and in-demand course high school students chose since it boomed during the early 2000s as manifested by the increasing number of nursing schools and nursing graduates all over the country (Ortiz, 2008). However, little do lay people know about the career choices, job success, and job satisfaction of Licean nursing graduates currently employed at the Polymedic General Hospital. This will provide society an idea on the day in the lives of nurses at a tertiary hospital- the gaps and challenges faced. This will also have implications in nursing practice and education. The study which was descriptive and qualitative in approach interviewed 10 Licean graduates and narrated their experiences in their hospital work based on the career choices, job success, and job satisfaction. The key informants have the following characteristics: 1. Age is between 23 to 28; 2. The highest educational level earned is a BSN degree; 3. The longest span served by a respondent is six years, shortest is seven months; and 4. Staff nurse got the highest frequency distribution. The choice for Nursing as related by the respondents was greatly influenced by their parents and themselves, followed by distant relatives; others, trend and being medicine-related. The nurses perceived themselves as successful and serving their patients appeared to contribute to this perception.  likewise, satisfaction with current hospital work was noted. One gap was low job satisfaction attributed to issues related to compensation and benefits; unless mitigated, this job satisfaction will continue to be felt. Another area challenging the hospital was more professional development opportunities.   Keywords - career choices, job success, job satisfaction, Licean nurses, clinical setting
