| Descripción: | Solar energy has been proved as an innovative and promising route for the treatment of industrial effluents, waste water and for the purification of water. The solar detoxification process has challenged the effectiveness of conventional treatment processes for the degradation of environmental contaminants. The literature review of scientific and technological aspects on solar photo catalytic degradation and detoxification process has been conducted and briefly represented in the present paper.
