Descripción: i In this study, in wood laminated with pinus (A) and poplar (B) sawed veneers, the effects of formation of different layers on the bending and adhesion strengths have been investigated. For this purpose, veneers with a thickness of 3 mm are sawed from pine (Pinus silvestris L.) and poplar (Populus tremula) woods and lamination layers are designed as AAAAAAA, BBBBBBB, ABABABA, ABBABBA and ABBBBBA. As an adhesive only polyvinylacetat (PVAc) is used in the layers paralel to the grain. To the experiment samples prepared, a bending strength test and a binding strength test are condueted on the bases of DIN 52 186 and DIN 53 255 respectively. As a result, the bending and binding resistance as well as the density of laminated wood have been increased depend on pine layers. From the point of resistances performance on the laminated wood are observed to increase depending on the pine layers.  Key Words: Laminated wood, symmetry of layer, poplar, pinus
